Freed from the conditioned mind – A Poem

A Poem

A hush in the heart where the old winds fade,
A dawn in the mind where the new light’s played.
The world dances with a shimmering mirage,
Inviting awareness to step wholly in charge.

The river of moments runs fresh and clear,
When we stop pouring yesterday’s fear.
Each breath is a lantern, softly lit,
Showing the path as we’re walking it.

A wanderer once, with a burdened stride,
Carried the weight of a world inside.
Labels and stories clung tight to her name,
Binding her spirit in subtle shame.

But one quiet morning, the sky broke wide,
And she saw through the veil of the self‑made tide.
The puppet‑self loosened its trembling hold,
And the truth shone through like a thread of untold.

She learned that the mind is a painter’s hand,
Colouring emptiness to make it stand.
Yet emptiness smiles — it’s never bound,
It’s the open field where all forms are found.

So she walked with a freshness, moment‑born,
No longer living from thoughts well‑worn.
Compassion rose like a gentle flame,
And wisdom whispered its secrets of no-name.

Now every step is a story told,
Of a mind unshackled, awake and bold.
A tale of freedom, simple and true —
Awareness meeting the world anew.

And if you listen close, you’ll hear her say:
“Let each breath sweep the dust away.
Live not second‑hand, nor bound by the past —
Freshness is the path that will always last.”
